With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna C Hix (Rome, Georgia), born in Hagan, Georgia, who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Kenneth Hix; her siblings, Curtis Cooper, Hilda Pittman and Jeanette Walling; and her parents, John Alvin and Ruby Malissa Hendrix Cooper.
She is survived by: her son Alan Hix (Kathy) of Rome, GA; her granddaughter Kelly Johnson (Ben Johnson) of Menlo, GA; her great grandchildren, Aria, Lydia and Beau Johnson; and her sisters, Ava Nell McGlashen and Alice Waters of Claxton, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
