She was predeceased by: her parents, P. E. McCollum and Nobia Potts McCollum; her husband Jacky Paul Shores, Sr.; her son Danny Shores; her siblings, Harvey McCollum, Bill McCollum, Tommy McCollum, Norman McCollum, Glenn McCollum, David McCollum, Charmon Phillips and Jean Johnson; and her brother-in-law Tommy (Marlene Shores).
She is survived by: her children, Heather Shores of Rome and Scott Shores (Cara) of Rome; her grandson Wesley Shores (Baylee) of Broomfield, CO; and her brother Jack McCollum (Nancy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
