She is survived by: her husband John Husser; her children, Elizabeth "Bess" Redmond Husser Creech (Zeke) of Raleigh, Mary Katherine Husser Simmons (Earle) of Nashville and John Scott Husser, Jr. (Sarah) of Rome; her grandchildren, Katherine Ayden Hollingsworth "Katie Worth" Creech, Elizabeth Redmond Ransom Creech of Raleigh, Margaret Aline Simmons, Corinne Chapin Simmons of Nashville, Helen Robbins Husser and John "Jack" Scott Husser III of Rome; her sisters, Linda Ransom James (Ed) of Atlanta and Elizabeth Ransom Bosworth (George) of Rome; her cousin Satyra Summerour Howell (John) of Birmingham; her sisters-in-law, Maureen Husser Lavengood (Wayne) and Marilyn Husser Stream (Allen) of Salinas, California; her great-nephew Theta; and her friend Cedartown.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rome (436 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Broad & Fifth (436 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161).
