She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamine F. Carver and Eula Mae Carver; her husband Jessie Wendell Edwards; her siblings, Alice Bradfield, Gladys Ott, Opal Edwards and Dewey Carver; and her great grandchild David Timothy Faulkner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Nelson (Larry) and Sandra Freeman (Larry); her grandchildren, Christina "Kristi" Freeman, Jason Nelson (Lisa) and Michelle Reynolds (Jeff); her brother Duel Carver (Anita); her great grandchildren, Jack Faulkner, Luke Faulkner (Kris), Baleigh Reed (John), Carter Nelson, Blake Reynolds and Layne Reynolds; and her great great grandchild Jude Faulkner.
