With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Louise (Moore) Lester of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Evelyn Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Moore and Lois Moore; her siblings, Daisy Vaughn and Jack Moore; and her husband Melvin Lester.
She is survived by: her son Richard Lester (Annette); her grandchildren, Kevin Lester (Kathy) and Natalie Craig (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Craig and Reese Craig.
