It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances B Gaines of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brazelton and Louise Sewell Brazelton; and her husband James Lewis Gaines. She is survived by: her sister Ellen Brazelton Krift of Urbana, Ohio; and her children, Ann Gaines Slinkard of Rome, Georgia and Steve Gaines of Mentor, Ohio. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association at 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
