He is survived by: his wife Marie Cordle of Rome, GA; his children, Josh Jackson (Corrine) and Jerri Carter; his siblings, Wayne Dean (Laura) and Stacey Wright (Shane); his sister-in-law Tesa Lucas (Sky Highfield); his grandsons, Blake and Emerson Jackson; his great-niece Aurora Alice Wright (Geno); Darrell and Tina McBurnett.

Throughout his professional career, Geno made significant contributions to the community he served, Rome and Floyd County.
