Gloria Diane Rood Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Byron Cambron and Odessa "Totsie" Jones Cambron; her grandparents, Caine Monroe Cambron, Lassie Swinney Cambron, Nannie Kilgore Jones and Delay Jones; and her aunt Edna Estelle Cambron.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen "Steve" Rood; her son Stephen Shane Rood (Vickie Wheeler); her grandson Gavin Shane Rood; her great grandchild Sutton Cambron Rood; her daughter-in-law Kelly Tudor; her brothers, Don Cambron (Diane) of Franklin, TN and Alan Cambron (Grace Guerriere) of Fort Worth, TX.; her niece Erin Dent (Troy) of Weatherford, TX; her nephews, Caine Cambron (Emily) of Arlington, TX and Mikell Cambron of Nashville, TN.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kylie Dent, Harper Dent, Piper Cambron, Canon Cambron and Gray Cambron. She is also survived by the love of her life, and Zoe Belle Rood, her granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Daniel's Funeral Home (901 E 2nd Ave, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cancer Navigators, 3 Central Plaza, Box 415, Rome, GA 30161 or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
