He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Marion Eaker and Besie Arlen Smith Hall; his brother Sydney Lee Eaker; his stepfather Deward Hall; his stepbrothers, Glenn and Melvin Hall; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Eaker and Stan Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Boice Eaker; his children, Gregory Philip Eaker, Jr. (T'Naiha), Richard Lee Eaker (Natalie), Lindsey Arlen Martin (Mo) and Jordan Shade Eaker; his grandchildren, Zibby, Addie, Everett, Parker, Gabriel, Elias, Ruby, Sterling and James; and his siblings, Vickie Eaker Harper, Joey Lawrence Eaker (Holly), David Hall and Eric Eaker (Michelle). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
