It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Oliver Kidney Jr. of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Harry Oliver may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Harry Oliver touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Oliver Kidney, Sr. and Katherine Wilma Swain Kidney; and his brother Tom Kidney. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Wynn Kidney; his children, Kathy Mathis (Jeff), Steve Kidney (Yvonne) and Mike Kidney (Lee); and his stepson Jeffrey Bryan Wynn (Tina). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
