The memory of Helen Bereniece Bush of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Reese and Allene Thaxton Escoe. She is survived by: her husband George I. Bush, Jr. (Irvin); her sons, George I. Bush, III (Skeeter) of Rome and Charles Allen Bush (Veda) of Powder Springs; and her brother Jimmy Reese Escoe of Colbert. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration of a memorial donation to the Oconee County Food Pantry at ACTS (Area Churches Together Serving) in Bogart, GA or to the Blue Summit Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation in Cartersville, GA.
