It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Nail of Rome, Georgia, born in Centre, Alabama, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Nail and Mary Gautney Nail; and her sisters, Betty Abernathy, Peggy Stone and Bessie Awtrey.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessie Abernathy (Johnathan); her siblings, Danny Nail, David Nail, Richard Nail, Jamie Nail, Brenda Hasty and Rose Helms; and her grandchildren, Gavan Harbin, Alana McElhaney, Ashlyn and Chloe Abernathy.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Longshore Cemetery.
