It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard L. Glass of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard L. Glass to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his wife Frances "Louise" Crawford Glass; his son David Eugene Glass; and his grandson David Eugene Glass, Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Elaine Miller (Vern), Monroe Glass and Douglas Glass (Kristine); his daughter-in-law Sherry Glass; and his grandchildren, Sylvia Cox (Ralph), Cathy Peterson (Brent), Sarah Ball (Russell "Bobby"), Jerry Lee Hilton, Jr., Erin Weaver (Justin), Shannon Lumley (Chris), Ann Gruber (Dewayne) and Rebecca Sparks (Brian). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at the West Hill Cemetery (457 Pine St, Trion, GA 30753).
