He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Jefferson Waters and Katie Lou Harmon Waters; and his brother Richard "Shorty" Waters. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Jacks Waters; his sons, Randy Waters (Laurel) and Rick Waters; his grandchildren, Jake Waters (Erin) and Erin McKinney (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Harriet, Thomas Waters and Sylvie McKinney; his sister-in-law Raynell Waters; and his nephews, Stacy Waters (Deborah) of Rome, GA and Marney Waters (Norma) of Marietta, GA.
