It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul Lewis of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howard Lewis and Mildred Ruth Lewis; his wife Brenda Knowles Lewis; his son Jeffery Dean Lewis; and his grandson Brian Matthew Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Marie Siniard (Jeff), Silver Creek, Kelli Rena Singleton, Kingston, Mark Anthony Ely and Jamie Carlton Ely (Tamara); his grandchildren, Kevin Singleton, Kendall Singleton (M. J.), Lauren Calfee (Nick), Tristan Siniard (Sarah), Hayden Ely (Shannon), Cameron Ely (Raeann), Jessie Ely and Casey Ely; his great grandchildren, Stetson Calfee, Caraline Calfee and Lynnlee Ely; his siblings, Dulane Lewis, Louise Carpenter (Clark) and Janie Green (Clinton); and his siblings-in-law, Terri Fincher and John Knowles (Michele). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
