She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior Wesley "Doc" Mulkey and Annie Mae Cook Mulkey; her husband Michael Smith; and her brothers, Charles Mulkey, Kenneth Mulkey and Stanley Mulkey.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Howard, Milton Akins, Melissa Garner and Michelle Ramsey; and her sister Ruby Craig. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; extended family.
