She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Coachman Bridges and Doris Starling Bridges (Mimi); her husband James Burwyn Preston; her siblings, Sue Bridges Holman, Johnny and Donnie Bridges; her nephew Buckston Logan Bridges (Buck); and her brother-in-law Irving Lamar Preston (Obie Joan Herndon).
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Preston of Athens Ga and Scott Preston (Jennifer) of Rome; her grandchildren, Emily Preston of Rome and Jackson Preston of Rome; and her sister Beverly Wheat. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
