She was predeceased by: her parents, John Berry Mooney and Rosa Lee Mooney; her husband Benjamin Franklin Atkins; her son David Atkins (Margaret); and her siblings, J. B. Mooney and Catherine Steed.
She is survived by: her son Michael Atkins (Donna); and her grandchildren, Jeff Atkins (Jerri), Kimberly Klein (Joel) and Cory Reese Atkins. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
