With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Weatherby Sr. (Rome, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Gaylor Weatherby; his son Jerry Weatherby Jr.; his parent Jim D. Weatherby; and his brother Ben Weatherby. He is survived by: his son Rick Weatherby (Michelle) of Rome, Georgia; his stepson James Duncan Jr.; his daughters, Randi Tate of California and Evelyn Duncan of Rome, Georgia; his brothers, Waylon Weatherby, Jimmy Weatherby and Joey Weatherby; and his close friends, Kay and Tony Trammel of Rome, Georgia.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Living Water Ministries (26 Little Texas Valley Rd NE, Rome, GA 30165). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Living Water Church (26 Little Texas Valley Rd NE, Rome, GA 30165).
