It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jill Sealy Salter (Rome, Georgia), born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, P. E., Jewel Sealy of Florence and Ward Moore of Selmer, Tennessee.. She is survived by: her husband Jeremy Salter; her children, William Sealy Salter and Marlo Elizabeth Salter; her parents, Jerry Sealy and Pat Sealy of Florence; and her grandmother Betty Moore of Selmer, Tennessee..

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (100 E 4th Ave, Rome, GA 30161).

For those who wish to honor Jill's memory, donations to the Davies Shelters, the Junior Service League of Rome, and First Baptist Church of Rome are welcomed — continuing her mission of compassion and care for others.
