She is survived by: her husband Earl Stallings Howell, Jr.; her son Stuart Jones (Wendy) of Temple, GA; her daughter-in-law Whitney Jones of Dallas, GA; her grandsons, Matthew Jones of Hiram, GA, Eric Jones (Samantha) of Powder Springs, GA, Adam Jones (Katie) of Kissimmee, FL and Carter Jones of Orlando, FL; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Alex and Holly Jones; and her stepson Earl Stallings Howell III (Cheryl) of Ringold, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Powder Springs Chapel (3940 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs (4330 North Ave, Powder Springs, GA 30127). The lying in state was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Powder Springs Chapel (3940 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127).
