He is survived by: his children, John Albert Cook, Jr. (Billie) and Kimberly Joye Eggleston (Joseph); his grandchildren, John Albert Cook III and Aster Leanna Cook; and his brother Benjamin Turner Cook Jr. (Barbara Ochlocknee).
