He was predeceased by: his parents, John Komanitzky and Theresa Kiraly Komanitzky. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Wacker Komanitzky; his children, Christine Donadio (Richard), Terry Smith (Travis) and James "Jimmy" Komanitzky; his grandchildren, Leslie Donadio, Stephanie Durall (Cory), Holly Brown (Kyle), Gretchen Smith, Daniel Donadio and Gabi Smith; his great grandchildren, Caroline Durall, Kate Durall and Adeline Brown; and his sister Janet Davies.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Rome-Floyd County Community Kitchen, 4 Calhoun Ave. NE, Rome, GA 30161, where Mr. Komantizky greatly enjoyed volunteering.
