With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Colvin Ozment of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe T. Ozment and Frances Ruth Loveless Ozment; his wife Chiyo Uehara Ozment; and his brother Franklin Delano Ozment. He is survived by : his sons, Randy M. Stripling (Nicole) of Seminole, FL and Joseph Y. Ozment of Lenexa, KS; his granddaughter Brittany Teems (Chad); his great grandchildren, Caiden Carter, Mason Teems and Easton Teems; and his siblings, Carol Green (Byron) and Jack T. Ozment (Shelvie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
