He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szulya and Marie Burick Szulya; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Wheeler and Lewis Krehel. He is survived by: his wife Ann Jean Miller Szulya; his son Jeff Szulya (Angela); his granddaughter Maria Jeruzal; his son Robert Szulya (Nicole Knight); his grandchild Madison Knight; his daughter Tina Szulya Crouch (Eddie); his grandchildren, Maddox and Mason Crouch; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Krehel, Susie Smith (Lenny), Donna Ingram (Art) and Thomas Wheeler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
