She is survived by: her children, Kim Elise Mehaffey Kilgore (Jimmy) of Armuchee, GA and Lemuel Jay Mehaffey (Wendy) of Huntsville, TX.; her grandson Major Mitchell Eliot Mehaffey (Renee); her great grandchild Elliotte Marie Mehaffey; her sister Emily W. Schneider; and her nieces, Mallin Hopkins (LaDon) and Allison Schneider.
