He was predeceased by: his father Alfredo Cruz. He is survived by: his mother Casilda Cornejo; his wife Maribel Reyes; his children, Jason Cruz-Reyes, Leo Cruz-Reyes and Evelyne Cruz-Reyes; and his siblings, Tomás Cruz, Andrea Cruz, Edith Cruz, Leticia Cruz and Carmela Cruz. He is also survived by thirty nieces and nephews.
