She was predeceased by: her father David Garlin; and her siblings, Agnes Massingill and Charles Garlin. She is survived by: her mother Annie Adcock Garlin; her husband John Payne; her son John David Payne; and her sister Retha Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
