Lindy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lindy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lindy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Martin and Gladys Mae Hart Martin; and her siblings, Edna Atkins, Charles Martin and Shirley Reece.

She is survived by: her daughter Tina Hobbs; and her brother Arthur "Bunk" Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oaknoll Chapel (2542 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
