She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wood and Arloa Morgan Wood; and her former husband Jerry Bryant. She is survived by: her husband Jack Summerbell; her sister Joan Henderson; her children, Charles Bryant (Holly) and Lee Ann Edwards (Dawayne); her stepson James Summerbell (Dana); her grandchildren, Samuel Bryant, Belle Bryant, Trista Dowdy, Lucas Edwards, Emily Summerbell and Sarah Summerbell; and her nephew Joseph Henderson (Cheryl).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be sent to First United Methodist Church or the Rome-Floyd County YMCA.
