He is survived by: his wife Melody Ann Byrd; his sister Stephanie Self (Dean); his stepmother Ellen Byrd; his nieces and nephews, Micah Daniel Byrd and Emmalee Ann Self; his mother-in-law Denise Brooks; and his pet Tammy Snacks "Tam Tam".
