She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar "Sam" Boatner and Shirley Anne Fulton; and her sisters, Angela Fulton Dyer and Sandra Stocks. She is survived by: her husband Barry Dyer; her children, Candice "Rosie" Poole (Donald Whitehead) and Richard Poole; and her siblings, Teresa Boatner, Vanessa Johnson, Pamela Thompson (Walter Ferguson), Cindy Boatner, Stacey Thompson, Dawn Renee, Rebecca Ogles and Jefferson Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
