Mildred leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mildred’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mildred will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Ada Lee Garner Rutledge Garrett and Warner E. Rutledge; sons: Charles Waldrop, Jimmy Waldrop and the late Danny Waldrop; sister: Gloria Rutledge Walters; daughter-in-law: Virginia Leming; grandchildren: Kelli Waldrop Harless and Jason Waldrop; officiant: Pastor Randy Lambert; and four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a number of extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the North Chapel (4900 Martha Berry Hwy, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
