Nancy touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Harrison Starkey and Thelma Nelle Chandler Starkey. She is survived by: her son James "Jim" Bowers (Casey); her siblings, David R. Starkey (Daline) and Phyllis Bowden (Bo); and her pet Zima. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the West Hill Cemetery (457 Pine St, Trion, GA 30753).
