He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe O. Howard and Eunice Compton Howard; and his siblings, Richard Howard, Nancy Howard, Bebee Farrer, Bonnie Travis, Mona Lloyd, Betty Matushin, Mae Lamade and Fred Howard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
