He was predeceased by: his wife Angela Blackwood; his parents, William Blackwood and Maxine Huffstutler; his daughters, Micha Cornejo and Maranda Robles; and his granddaughter Clara Robles.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Modesta Dominguez, Anthony Redden, Yasmin Cornejo and Sara Robles; his great grandchildren, Julian, Isaiah, Victoria, Annabella, Camila, Francisco and London; and his siblings, Tommy, Michael, Marie and Elaine.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (2750 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). The military honors was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Centre Methodist Church Cemetery.
