She was predeceased by: her parents, Olan Ray Bishop and Cornelia JoAnn Ozment Bishop; her brother Olan Ray Bishop II; and her parents-in-law, Willie Mae Leonard and T. C. Leonard.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Leonard, Sr.; her sons, Michael Leonard, Jr. (Stacey) of Preston Leonard, MD and Eric Leonard (Danielle) of Rome; her siblings, Charlene Adams (Paul), Austin Bishop, Felicia Blake (Scott), April Marion (Joe), Sabrina Baker and Russell Headrick (Kim); her stepmother Gayle Bishop; and her grandchildren, Michael "Trey" Leonard III, Madison Leonard, Avery Leonard, Sadie Leonard, Scarlett Leonard and Whitley Leonard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
