He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Barrow Groover; his wife Margaret Christian Groover; his sisters, Martha Groover Braddock and Janet Groover Bradley; and his granddaughter Heather Oliver.
He is survived by: his father Traman Groover; his daughters, Jamie Richey (Wayne) and Cherie Oliver (Bradley); his grandchildren, Christopher Oliver, Nicolas Oliver, Charis Richey Forman (Josh), Brian Richey (Stephanie) and Brindley Richey; and his siblings, Jerry Groover, Herman Groover and Frances Groover Grubbs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family invites contributions to the Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church WinShape Camps Scholarship Fund.
