He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dial Selman and Ollie Mae Chapman Selman; his wife Molly Fleming Selman; his grandson Jay Selman; and his siblings, Rosie Thacker, Rufus Selman, Johnny Selman, Jesse Selman, Bill Selman, Guyton Selman and Cecil Selman.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Sanders (Chris Minker), Rhonda Wallace (Ronnie) and Rodney Allen Selman; and his grandchildren, Bradley Bailey (Tiffany), Julie Satterfield (Ryan), Heather Wallace (Frank), Haden Wallace and Hunter Selman (Rachel). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
