He is survived by: his wife Wanda Faye Adams Murphy; and his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Anderson (Dickie), Raymond H. Murphy II (Phaisit Kimakom), Gwenette Powell (Alan) and Paula Britt (Eddie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
