We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2024, at the age of 80, Raymond William Dixon of Rome, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Esther Duke VanHorn; his stepfather Lonnie VanHorn; his wife Linda Gail Anderson Dixon; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Dixon and Guy Loveless.

He is survived by : his daughters, Teresa Garrett of Rome, GA, Tina Dowdy (Jeff) of Lindale, GA and Robin Love (Ray) of Rome, GA.; his siblings, Dick Dixon of Rome, GA, Lonnelle Loveless and Lynnette Shepherd (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Cotey Koehler, Joshua Garrett, Rachel Jacobs, Cecelie Dixon, Noah Dowdy, Liane Baker and Jaymie Collins. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
