He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Frances Brookshire Allmon; his sister Susan Baxter; his grandparents, William, Susie Brookshire, Robert and Bernice Allmon; and his niece Shannon Godfrey.
He is survived by: his father John Henry Allmon; his wife Joann Hilley Allmon; his children, Carol Blackburn Cronan (Rodney), Jennifer Salmon (Joe), David Blackburn (Autumn) and Paul Allmon (Lanie); and his sister Louise Godfrey (Mack). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
