He is survived by: his children, Tod Buford (Beth), Sissie Horne (Steve) and Jody Buford (Ashley); his grandchildren, Kiah Buford (Rachel), Kipp Buford (Hannah), Will Kelley (Taylor), Emma Price (Cord), Haley Merritt (Blake) and Joy Park (Joe); his great grandchildren, Kimberlyn "Bea" Buford, Corbyn Price, Graycen Price, Hazel Merritt and Logan Merritt; his sister Glenda Burchett; his nieces, Debbie Wood, Connie Vick and Jill Wood; and his family, Lynn, Vivian, Clayton and Lee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floyd Memory Gardens (895 Cartersville Hwy SE, Rome, GA 30161).
