She was predeceased by: her parents, Starlin Truman Medlin and Christine Gaddis Medlin; and her daughter Kelly Phillips. She is survived by: her daughter Benae Priest (Mark); her son-in-law Darrell Phillips; her granddaughters, Rebecca Phillips and Madeline Phillips; and her sisters, Jean Morris and Louise Painter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
