She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Kerce and Clara Elizabeth Quarles; her brothers, Rev. John Cecil, Ralph Burton, James Nevin, Robert Edwin, Frank Quarles and Howard Early; and her husband Ronald Lee Howe.

She is survived by: her son Jonathan Howe of Roswell, GA; and her stepchildren, Chuck Howe of Marietta, GA, Cathy Malone of Alma, IL and Mark Howe of Salem, IL. She is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
