He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lee Garrett, Jr. and Dora Atkinson Garrett; and his brother Buford Douglas Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Allison Jackson Garrett; his children, Jason Thomas Garrett, Anna Melissa Keef and Calvin Judson "C. J." Garrett; his grandchildren, Jackson May, Braysen Keef, Lynlee Keef and River Keef; and his siblings, Olivia Garrett Yuspa, Fred Van Garrett, Ann Garrett Mathis and Nancy Garrett Mackey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
