Thresia Wayne Williams Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thresia Wayne Williams (Rome, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Thresia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Thresia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Matthews and Ola Matthews; and her sister Janice Law. She is survived by: her husband William Williams (Bill); her children, Darren Williams (Tonya Williams) of Rome and April Williams (Patrick Padgett) of Marietta; her sisters, Frances Bullard (late Buddy Bullard) and Carol Palmer (late Bobby Palmer); and her granddaughters, Samantha Novinger (Brent) and Emily Chafin (Nic). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Cancer Navigators of Rome.
