He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel A. Thiel and Virginia M. Kretz Thiel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Thiel of Rome, GA; his children, Todd Anthony Thiel (Angela), Dustin Daniel Thiel and Laura Rohrdanz (Brandon); his siblings, John Thiel, Daniel Thiel, Thomas Thiel, Theresa Zack and Jean Thiel; and his granddaughters, Zoe, Madeline and Hailey.
