He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis and Rita Davis; and his daughter Kristin VanMeter. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Carlock (Brian) and Kelli Gonzalez (Luis); his son-in-law Bruce VanMeter; his grandchildren, Tristan Carlock, Seth Carlock, Christian Carlock, Jaylon Gonzalez (Kamyn Rhodes), Gabby Gonzalez, Cash Gonzalez and Bruce A. VanMeter; and his great grandchildren, Josiah Gonzalez and Juliana Gonzalez. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (2750 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165).
