He is survived by: his wife Carol Henderson Garnigan; his children, Traci S Linley (Anthony), William D Garnigan, Sr. (Chenedra), Dwona N Alexander and Shundi P Jones (Charles); his stepchildren, April L Carter, Amanda Carter James and Wilson Carter, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley Linley Gonzales (Bernardo), Antonio Linley II (Anna Caren), Morgan Alexander (Alicia Lewis), Shanteria Thomas, Valerie A Jones, Jasmine Amaya (Anthony) of William, Garnigan, Jr. (Cristina), Alexis Garnigan and Charles "Chaz" Jones, Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, Tiffany Brown, Jarvis James and Shannon Carter; his siblings, Dale Griffin (Willis), Deana Rowland, Cheryl Turner (Gary), Cora Nelson (Dennis) and Lawrence Garnigan; his brother-in-law Wayne Henderson (Emma); his aunt Ella Louise Leslie; and his godson Corey B Benham. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
